Is it true that the Silver Plate Calathea plant is a bit picky with humidity???

Yes, this plant is indeed a bit picky about humidity levels. This plant needs high humidity, around 40-60%. Otherwise, the plant will turn yellow, and worse, the leaves will start to wilt.

Absolutely! This plant really enjoys some humidity. I give it lots of love and care, misting it, putting it in a humidity tray, grouping it with other plants, and using a humidifier.

Of course! All of these calathea plants just adore humidity! Just a heads-up!
You can set the humidity to whatever level you like, but I'd say medium to high is probably best! You might also want to mist the leaves from time to time.
